The Fix Burger Bar

The Fix is AMAZING this hidden jem is a must stop if you like burgers. The owners nailed it on this. The only draw back is the music in the background. One thing that is far beyond amazing is the older advertising of the days when you could get a full meal for 20 cents. The sweet potato fries make this place great. Just make sure you call in advance to make reservations. Highly recommended. Yes. You wait a little bit for the food and to put your order in. But it is SO worth the wait. Trust me. The beer selection is great too.

I really wanted to try this place out seeing all the good reviews. Unfortunately my takeout experience was not good. The Mac n Cheese was bland. The Ghostface burger I ordered with Crispy Chicken was bland but thankfully the sauce gave it some flavor. My onion rings were very greasy I could not eat them. I asked for fries with my 2nd order and asked to have the chips that went in the burger on the side. What I got was a bunch of chips and chips still inside the burger. I gave 2 stars b/c the dessert was good and the service was quick but for $50, it was not worth it.

Always loved this place, even when it was in the old spot. Never fails to impress us when we go. More pricey then 99 or chains. Worth it every time. Great salad bar as well

Very nice place! Service was excellent even when they made a mistake in the back the server was such a great guy and fixed it and apologized. It's was a great place definitely recommend and will go back.

Fun, casual burger joint. They usually have a good variety of interesting burgers and appetizers. Definitely good for groups. I usually try to get something I haven't had before, and some of the more unusual burgers are hit-or-miss, but that's more a personal taste issue--all the food is good quality and well made.

Terrific service - fast, friendly and helpful. And the food was fantastic. Drink options were creative and fun. Good beer list. Food choices are plentiful and varied. Highly recommend.

We went their for dinner, we ate here once before and enjoyed the food. We were a party of 5 (4 adults & 1 child). Advised the wait is going to be 20 to 25 minutes, not bad of a wait time for a Friday night but we were seated within 15 minutes. The food did not take long to arrive after we ordered. The spoked milkshakes were delicious. We ordered one chocolate and one coffee.Our wait person, Dylan was great. Would definitely go back!!Awesome place for family or group setting.

Drinks and food were fantastic! Sat at the bar. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my wife and I. The ghost burger was even better tasting than it sounded. Defiantly going back!

Great selection of rotating craft brews and the burgers are the cream of the crop. Great options of beef, turkey, chicken and fish burgers. You can always create your own or add/modify an premade specialty burger. The house made chips are good too, as are their fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings (you can't go wrong with whichever side you choose).

Hamburgers were very delicious, my family and I loved them. The fries were delicious and they didn't have a lot of grease. The shakes were amazing. Customer service was great and fast.

Great food and atmosphere. Maybe it's just my luck but the 10 or so times I've been there the wait staff have had a bit of an attitude. A bit pricey but the food and drinks are well worth it. If I lived closer I would probably be there 2 or 3 times a week.

First time I've been there and can't wait to go back. The fifth star is always elusive but they are very close. The dry rub wings almost put them into the 5 star level! Haven't even mentioned the ale selection!! Just decide to go and you'll love it

By far some of the best burgers I have ever had. The setting is pure college town and the the menu has a plethora of options to keep you happy. I have been 3 times in the past 4 weeks and each time I tried a different burger. To be honest, each one was so good I could not pick a favorite. I highly recommend this place.

Super disappointed with this place. It’s extremely loud. There’s no waiting area. They don’t have a fully stocked bar. By any means. The waiters have more tables than they can handle. I understand you’re busy, but when you have a reservation and you don’t get a drink until 20 minutes later, there’s a problem. Food is great, but unfortunately that’s about it. If you’re busy and your staff and your kitchen can’t keep up, stop seating people, put a longer wait time on your walk ins. Really just was not a good time.

I love this place. I get the Enzo and it's such a good combination of flavors. They have rotating beers so you never know what they'll have, which is nice when you want to try out new ones! They also do takeout which is super convenient!

Amazing food, crew were great to deal with during the shut down! The Phenomenal burger is, well, PHENOMENAL!! We will definitely be going back there! The shakes were yummy, too! And the messages inside were a great touch! Definitely made me smile...right before my eyes rolled back in my head from the burger!

Awesome atmosphere, and one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Make sure you try the American style, Kobe beef burger. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The only reason for the four star rating, was that our waitress was incredibly rude and had an attitude a mile wide. I understand people have bad days, but seriously, it's not all that tough to fake a smile. :)

Shakes, Wings were awesome. Hummus was good, bread was short. Veggie Burger was fresh, not a lot of flavor. Sweet potato fries could be crispier. Chef special carrot cake was great!

The wait was a boy long, about 30 minutes, considering hope many empty tables they but the food was great. The bigger mac burger was filling and the fries were pretty good

The meat and fish wasn't seasoned well enough, I couldn't finish my meal because it was too bland. The home fries and the pretzels were too salty. But they had a nice ambience and good staff.

Good burgers and fantastic fried pickles, albeit a bit greasy for my taste. The shakes are also good. The spiked shakes are a bit too strong depending on your preference

Nice atmosphere. Bar is stacked as well as the menu. Plenty of options. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Would return.

The food here is very good and there's a good selection for folks with various diets however this is not the place to go if you're in a rush. I've been here twice and both times there's been a significant wait to get your order. In summary if you have the time it's worth the wait.

The burgers here are very good. I have found on occasion that the buns are a bit dried out, though that is usually not the case, but I've noticed it on more than one occasion. Everything else is good. They have a small salad bar in the back that I almost always get and it's always well stocked and fresh

Great late night stop. I was starved at a local hotel. I got out and walked around and from a distance saw their nice bright sign. Going inside, I was impressed by the nice warm atmosphere. Great selection of beers, burgers we're great. Nice staff. I'll definitely go back.

Came in for Friday lunch. Hostess was super nice and cleaned a table for us. Menu was good. (Get the salad bar add on,o llots of variety!) Manager was friendly and moving around keeping things clean and running smoothly. Nice decor. Everything just flowed together nicely, from the atmosphere to the food. All around a fun place.

Excellent service with good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is also great and the bar has a large selection of drinks. I would reccomend for a quick night out with friends!

The burger choices are plentiful, as well as the robust, ever changing beer selection. The waitstaff is attentive. I visit almost every time I'm in Worcester.

Pretty standard mid tier burgers and drinks place. Attractive bare brick industrial vibes. You can occupy the stools, booths, or bar side seating. The proximity to WPI and it's hoards of youths make it pretty busy. Be prepared for a wait if you don't make a reservation. I recommend the Kahuna Burger with Sprite.

Hamburger is top notch, bar none! Already can't wait to go back to try their different burgers. Good choice on having downeast cider on draft/tap. It was wicked good!

The food is NOT over-priced. The tuna burger and the regular burger were outstanding. Some of the best burgers my wife and I ever had. The fried onion rings were THE best best we have ever had. The service was great but we had to wait little longer but that is OK when your food is at this level. Definitely try Fix Burger. We will be making the approximately 50 mile just to eat here. It is that outstanding. Five Stars all the way.!!!!!!! burger and the regular burger were outstanding

Had promise but literally on my first bite of their salad bar I chipped my tooth on ‘something’. Actually sheared the whole top off my incisor. They offered free dessert. Um, not hungry now! How about my dentist bill?!?! No one seemed to apologetic, It was a good 20 minutes before the server even checked on our table to find out what happened.

Great burgers, friendly staff, and well priced

I got a plain old burger (house grind) with cheddar. Something simple. Damn. Not simple. Just amazing fresh meat, cooked exactly how I ordered it on a soft bun that didn't fall apart. The fried pickle chips were perfect. The batter stuck and the pickles weren't too wet. They were also mild, which works better for a fried pickle.

I ordered food today that was delivered at 5 Exeter street. And ever since I ate the food, I have had an upset tummy for hours now! Don’t know if the staff are washing their hands well! I want my money back! It’s terrible :)

Fabulous burger place. Also lots of beer. And they actually cook the burgers MEDIUM (PINK) and boy are they delicious!

First time there. Waited about 6 min. While hostess talked on the phone. She hung up and made another call . i asked if we seated ourselves and she held up a finger to wait , not even speaking to us. I noticed the air in there was stuffy so we left. The hostess continued on the phone so i have no idea about the food. I wouldn't go back there because of extremely poor service.

The Fix is one of my favorite burger bars. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing, the service is amazing. The pure amount of different customization options makes it so that you can have a different experience every time you go there. There are so many different types of burgers and a there are a plethora of toppings. To anybody who even remotely enjoys burgers, I highly recommend The Fix.

Always great food and drinks. The Green Chili burger is amazing and the sweet potato fries are the best I've had.

I’m from the Boston area and came to Worcester to visit a friend. This place was recommended to me so we ordered food to go on a Friday night. When I got there, it was extremely busy and somehow our order was never placed in the kitchen. When I checked with the staff, they were very nice and had it out within 10m and gave it to us for free. We appreciate the gesture and thought the food was great. Place is definitely worth the wait. Thanks again!

This is by far the best burger place I have ever been to. Good mixed drinks and craft beer. This place does get busy so plan accordingly if you are trying to get a quick bite before a concert or event. The staff was awesome and knowledgeable. Only thing was it is more on the expensive side. However, it was well worth it.

Food and service here are fantastic!! Both times I have been here it was jam packed with people, but the wait was much shorter than expected and the food was well worth the wait. Burgers are among the best I've ever had. I wish I lived closer to Worcester so I could eat here more often.

Burgers are good, if pricy. Huge variety of bun and topping options will please just about anyone. The exception is the house veggie burger, which is a bland, pasty mess, not up to the standards of their beef burgers. Fortunately, they also have the Beyond Burger, which I was really impressed with- flavorful, with good texture and crisp edges. Beer list is one of the top 5 in town, but prices are notably high, even for the craft brews they are serving: 10-13 oz pours run $8-$12. Service is notably slow and inattentive- this has been consistent across all my visits to the new Grove St location. Servers themselves have always been helpful and kind when at the table, but scarce when you're looking to order a second round of beers.

Best burger I've ever eaten. Lamb, fried prosciutto, (no pickles, tomato, or red onion), grilled onions, Whiskey BBQ sauce, a fried egg and garlic mayo all on a brioche bun. Get it, and you will understand

The restaurant was was very busy and had to wait a few minutes even with reservations. However, it was not long at all. Wait staff was good, hustled and was knowledgeable about the menu.We both made our own burgers which were outstanding. Great beer selection. Unfortunately the chocolate shake was just OK, didn't meet our expectations. Will definitely go back and will give the shake another shot.

The burger list is extensive, be prepared to be a little overwhelmed. I had the Kahuna burger and it delicious, cooked perfectly medium rare. The bartenders make good mixed drinks in addition to a great beer menu. Can't wait to go back and try one of the shakes.

The Fix is located in an old brick factory. Inside it retains the factory walls and ceiling with new floors, definitely warm and cozy. The beer selection is extensive, I had one from the sour and funky selection. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. Dry rub crispy outside and juicy inside. The burger I had was big and juicy. This place is fantastic.

Upon entering, I thought it was the most yuppie place I'd ever been. But I was amazed at the unbelievable atmosphere of the bar and restaurant. My 2 children, my wife and I come here regularly now. Their burgers are bar none some of the best of ever had. Their beer selection is top notch, featuring small breweries from across the United States as well as your fan favorite big batch companies. It's a perfect place to bring a family, date night with the missus,or a guys night out. If you haven't tried the fix yet, your absolutely neglecting your taste buds!!!!

It's a decent burger spot that serves plenty of burgers. You have the options to customize your own burger as well. You have to pay for the salad bar but the pay is worth it. The service was fast and friendly. The specialty cocktails were limited but the amount of beers they offered were good. Overall I enjoyed my experience.

GREAT FOOD, best burgers I've ever had, and awesome for late-night. Always accounts for larger groups of friends without problem.
